Laut der Webseite des TV-Senders KAN heißt der israelische Beitrag "October Rain". Der Text des Liedes ist sehr umstritten. Laut KAN wurde der Text der EBU zur Genehmigung vorgelegt, weil zur Debatte steht, er sei zu politisch, indem er das Hamas-Attentat vom 7. Oktober 2023 thematisiere. Sollte die EBU auf einer Änderung des Liedtextes bestehen, würde Israel sich aus dem Wettbewerb zurückziiehen.
