Annual convention 2024


 

We would like to kindly invite all Eurovision fans to our Annual Club Convention 
at the GLORIA-Theater in Cologne.

It will take place on November 23rd 2024.

We have invited the following star guests:

NEBULOSSA & DANCERS

Nebulossa didn't just stand out acoustically at the ESC in Malmö when there was plenty of male skin to admire on stage during their wickedly catchy song ‘Zorra’.
At our club meeting, they will be playing this and other songs just for us!
We're looking forward to snappy electro-pop and a great show in Cologne,
because Mery and Mark are not coming alone, but bring their dancers with them!

SARAH BONNICI

Sarah Bonnici was not to be heard on a continuous loop in Malmö, as Malta was surprisingly eliminated in the semi-finals this year. So it's high time to make up for it in Cologne.
In addition to her infectious smile and the song ‘Loop’, we are looking forward to many ESC hits at GLORIA!

SONJA LUMME

Finland's ESC representative from 1985 came ninth in Gothenburg with her song ‘Eläköön elämä’. Almost 40 years later, the song is still a hit that even younger ESC fans can sing along to. Get ready to clap along, because Sonja Lumme will be performing this and other ESC classics in Cologne.

MIHAI TRAISTARIU

At the ESC 2006 in Athens, Mihai Traistariu became a fan favourite with ‘Torneró’ and achieved one of the best placings for Romania with fourth place.

Hold on to your glasses and let his voice inspire you,
which has an impressive range of 5 1/3 octaves.

  

     

In addition to the appearances of the star guests, there are separate program contributions.

After the end of the stage program, our DJ Ohrmeister will be back at the ESC disco.



RAFFLE

In our traditional raffle the main prize will be 500 euros. 

When registering, please indicate whether you would like a raffle ticket at a price of EUR 5.

 

HOST:


Our club member Bernd Ochs will be the host for the sixth time

and will guide us through the program with his usual humor and knowledge.

 OGAE-Club-Members:  39,- Euro 
              (Cardskipper-Membershipnumber needed)                 

Non-Members: 49,- Euro 

There will probably be no day/evening box office!

ATTENTION: Registration by email is absolutely necessary.
The transfer should only take place after you have received a confirmation email,
otherwise we cannot assign the transfer correctly!

No tickets will be sent, but will be checked at the entrance using the registration list.

The booking is binding, a refund is only possible in exceptional cases
and if there is a waiting list.
Depending on the rush, we will remove guests rom registration who have not paid within a period of three weeks!

 

DINNER (only with pre-registration!):

 

We offer three different dishes:

Dish 1 

Chicken fricassee with peas and asparagus in a cream sauce,
served with basmati wild rice: 9.60 Euro

Dish 2

Turkey goulash with peppers and shallots,
served with rosemary potatoes: 9.80 Euro

Dish 3 

Vegan vegetable and chickpea curry with coconut milk and bean sprouts,
served with basmati wild rice: 8.70 Euro

TIME: Doors will open: 4.00 p.m.  -  Start of the programme: 5.30 p.m. 

How to find the location: From the Central Train Station (Hauptbahnhof) please take the underground, direction “Neumarkt”. Then look out for the large church and pass it on the right. The second street on the right is “Apostelnstraße”. The theatre is on the left side of the street.
